The medicals doctors and staff of SignatureCare Emergency Center in Killeen, TX were joined this week by residents of Killeen and Harker Heights, TX, and officials of the Greater Killeen Chamber of Commerce, Harker Heights Chamber of Commerce in celebrating the 5-year anniversary of the Killeen ER.
Those present were excited to hear words from the city and chamber officials while networking with other members of the community. They also enjoyed various treats and had the opportunity to tour the ultra-modern emergency room facility.
Dr. Drew Scribner, the medical director for the Killeen ER told the visitors and officials that the fact that the emergency center is still here in the community five years later is a testament to the quality of ER care provided to the community.
“The fact that we’ve been here for five years when other pre-standing emergency rooms have come and gone just shows that what we do, we do it really well,” said Dr. Drew Scribner said.
After the ribbon-cutting, which took place outside, attendees headed inside to eat a variety of different finger foods, chat amongst each other and start the tour of the 24-hour emergency room.
“We’re part of a larger organization, so we really pride ourselves in service, white glove service, and being a fully functional emergency room,’ Scribner said.
