Join us Saturday, June 15, at the Texarkana, TX Parks & Recreation Rotary Splash Pad for a water safety event presented by SignatureCare Emergency Center, Texarkana, TX.

Bring the kids for a fun day at the splash pad, Kona Ice, and lots of giveaways including information about water safety and a grand prize drawing thanks to Genesis PrimeCare.

Kids can meet a paramedic and tour an ambulance with LifeNet,Inc.

We will have LifeShare Blood Center hosting a blood drive for much needed donations this summer.

"Last year we had such a great turn out so this year we're hoping for an even bigger crowd," Signature Care Emergency Center Marketing Representative Amanda Bowers said. "We just want to educate and bring awareness to the community about water safety while also having a good time."

The family event will feature free pizza from Underground Pizza Company and shaved ice from Kona Ice. There will be numerous giveaways and a variety of water safety information available at the Signature Care Emergency Center booth.

"We'll pass out whistles for the kids, sunscreen, Frisbees, and other goodies," she said. "We'll also talk about the importance of wearing sunscreen," Bowers said.
